Q: Dr Shita, could you tell us a little about your background and what inspired you to become a plastic and aesthetic surgeon?

A: I graduated from the Division of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Hospital in Bali. During my residency at Prof. IGNG Ngoerah General Hospital, I was fascinated by how plastic surgery combines art and science to restore not only physical form but also a person’s confidence.
