Recovery Accommodation & Care Services

1. Services Provided

Bali Luxe Medical (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides post-operative recovery accommodation and nursing support services in Bali.
We do not perform surgical procedures, prescribe medication, or provide medical treatment.

All medical care, advice, and prescriptions remain the responsibility of your surgeon and hospital.
Our focus is your comfort, recovery, and wellbeing after surgery.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A deposit is required to confirm your booking.

  • Full payment is due 21 days prior to arrival.

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer or other approved options.

  • We reserve the right to cancel bookings if payment deadlines are not met.

  • Additional or optional services (e.g. therapies, extra nights) may incur separate charges.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • All cancellations must be made in writing.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, except where stated below.

  • Cancellations made 60 + days before arrival are eligible for a full deposit refund.

  • For cancellations within 60 days, refunds may be offered if we successfully rebook the villa.

  • Early notice improves the chance of rebooking and refund.

  • We recommend taking out travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes.

Please note: It is very common for hospitals or clinics in Bali to reschedule appointments at short notice.
We are very used to this and will always do our utmost to accommodate any changes.
If your surgery date is changed, or if your discharge from hospital is delayed, please contact our team as soon as possible and we will explore your options.
In most cases, we simply adjust your recovery stay to check in a day later and extend your booking at no extra charge.
If we are fully booked and unable to extend your stay, our team will assist with a smooth transfer to alternate accommodation — we are here to help.

4. Villa Allocation & Accommodation

  • Villas are assigned according to your surgery type and recovery needs.

  • Each villa is prepared to the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards in collaboration with trusted partners.

  • Villa photos and details are provided before or upon arrival.

  • Some villas may accommodate multiple guests. Every guest has a private bedroom and bathroom for privacy and comfort.

  • We ask all guests to respect the peaceful environment and each other’s recovery space.

5. Guest Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate personal, medical, and travel information.

  • Follow all care instructions from your surgeon, nursing team, and villa staff.

  • Take prescribed medication as directed by your doctor.

  • Treat staff, other guests, and property with respect.

  • Secure personal belongings; Bali Luxe Medical cannot be held liable for lost or damaged items.
     

6. Breach of Guest Responsibilities & Early Termination

Bali Luxe Medical reserves the right to terminate a guest’s stay if Guest Responsibilities (Section 5) are not met, including but not limited to behaviour that compromises the safety, comfort, or wellbeing of staff or other guests.

In such cases:

  • No refund or credit will be provided for unused nights or services.

  • Guests must vacate the villa promptly if requested by management.

  • Management discretion applies in exceptional circumstances, including medical emergencies.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not responsible for surgical outcomes, complications, or emergencies.

  • We are not liable for lost or damaged personal property.

  • We do not guarantee specific recovery results or timelines.

  • Our liability for any claim related to accommodation or care is limited to the total amount paid by the guest.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect and store personal information only for booking, care coordination, and recovery support.

  • Personal data is handled according to applicable privacy laws and shared only as necessary for your care.

  • By engaging our services, you consent to communication via phone, email, or WhatsApp about your booking and recovery.

9. Health & Safety

  • Notify us immediately of any changes to your medical condition or treatment plan.

  • Our nurses provide non-invasive post-operative care such as wound support and mobility assistance. They do not prescribe or administer medication.

  • Follow villa safety guidelines and local health regulations.

  • In case of emergency, our team will coordinate with your surgeon or hospital.

10. Partner & Third-Party Services

Some services — such as surgery, wellness treatments, or therapies — are provided by independent third-party partners.
While we carefully select our partners, Bali Luxe Medical is not responsible for their performance, pricing, or outcomes.
Guests are subject to the individual terms and conditions of each third-party provider.

11. Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, our team will assist in contacting your surgeon, hospital, or local emergency services.
All associated medical costs, hospitalisations, and treatments remain the responsibility of the guest.
We strongly recommend that all guests hold comprehensive travel and medical insurance before travelling to Bali.

12. Insurance Requirement

Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain insurance that covers medical procedures, post-operative care, travel delays, and cancellations.
Bali Luxe Medical cannot be held responsible for costs arising from complications, travel disruptions, or cancellations not covered by insurance.

13. Force Majeure

Bali Luxe Medical will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or travel disruptions.
In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule or provide credit towards a future stay.

14. Photography & Marketing Consent (optional)

With your permission, Bali Luxe Medical may use non-identifying photos or testimonials for marketing purposes.
We will always seek written consent before sharing any identifiable images or personal stories.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Guests will be informed of any major changes prior to their stay.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Indonesia.
By confirming your booking and submitting guest information, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

By confirming your booking with Bali Luxe Medical, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including any updates provided prior to your arrival.
